Episode 2: Setting up the GIMP

The GIMP is different from other Windows or Macintosh programs and so a bit different to set up. With this video I show how to move the dialogs into the main window, how to set up the tools and which preferences to change.

And here is the video.

Very well done, Rolf. I had forgotten some of the pointers you gave me some time ago, and this will be a wonderful reference.

When do you hit itunes??? I'd like it to come in automatically. I did "subscribe" to the RSS feed, but it didn't show up. Confused I'll try subscribing again. {edit: I found the refresh button!}

Can't wait for the next episode...

I supposed feedburner would tell it itunes. Well, I'll check that again.

The next one is in the works - and the weather forecast is in favour for it. 19°C and rain is the forecast for the weekend.

What do you think is better - putting the information into a walkthrough (like Episode 1) or going straight to it like in 2?

I'll go the first way with the next one(s).

I think I found the click I missed. I hope the next issue will show up at iTunes.

EDIT: I added an iTunes link on the blog entry.

Frankly, I like both. But I have a hunger for gimp knowledge! Laughing
