Download issues

Download issues? Please read!

Here’s a service announcement from archive.org (the place where I host the mp3s for the show) that might explain why over the last days the downloads didn’t always work and still have some issues:

“We are moving many of our machines to a new datacenter July 26th between 9:30AM PST and hopefully back up by 1PM PST. At least movies, ourmedia, books, software, and some of the wayback machine will be disrupted. When we bring it back up again, we will have more room to grow and a chillier room. We will also be able to put in more bandwidth. We apologize and appreciate your tollerance.

Please be patient and keep retrying the download, it will come through eventually.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I know you’ve been waiting for this show

Chris

(PS: if you happen to be able to give me a free 1TB/month of reliable bandwidth, please contact me)

tftf41 – Exposure Compensation

Careful! Quite a bit of an intro today! (two of the listeners called it “rambling”) .. but with lots of information and … a new assignment! And.. of course, something interesting about photography as well – today: how to handle difficult lighting situations with exposure compensation.
